| Under
Reform Law n. 580/93 reorganising the
Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft
and Agriculture, the members of the Council
of each Chamber of Commerce are designated
by the organisations representing the
enterprises operating in major economic
sectors of each District, (proportionally
to their representativeness in the relevant
province), as well as by workers unions
and users and consumers associations.
Therefore, Chambers of Commerce are now
“shared homes” for enterprises
and various business actors.
