Agroqualità is the Chambers’ company for quality certification in the agricultural and food industry, operating in compliance with national, EU and international rules and regulations concerning certification agencies. Agroqualità was established with a view to promoting agricultural and food production, through product and system quality certification.

It mainly aims at:
providing auditing, product and business management system certification services, based on voluntary certification schemes or national and international compulsory certification provisions;
enhancing the competitiveness of national products in domestic and international markets, thanks to the guarantees provided by certificates issued by independent and neutral agencies;
keeping contacts with national, foreign and supranational institutions, companies and organisations operating in the same fields, with a view to obtaining mutual recognition;
carrying out all activities aiming at promoting relations between producers, manufacturers, distributors and users, according to specific guarantee and reliability schemes.

After the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MIPAF) ascertained its UNI EN 45011 compliance, under a Decree issued by the above-mentioned Ministry on April 23, 1999, Agroqualità was registered in the Register of Private Supervisory Bodies for PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin) and PGI (protected geographical indication) certification, kept by the Ministry.
